FOR PASTORS

Keep your attention on the message.

You prepared the sermon, preached it, and then the week started again. This gives the message somewhere else to be heard without turning you into a video producer.

WHAT ARRIVES

Five reels from one recording.

Each one runs about 25 to 40 seconds, framed on the speaker, captioned word by word, with your church name and the scripture reference when it was spoken aloud.

Illustration of the review experience. Written for this page, not a recording of a church.

What usually gets in the way

The sermon is heard once

Somewhere inside Sunday is the encouragement someone needs on Wednesday, and the recording sits at a few dozen views.

You do not want another production role

Learning an editor is not the answer, and asking a volunteer to do it every week is a favour that runs out.

A clip can lose the point

The loudest thirty seconds is not the truest thirty seconds. A short format can flatten what you were carefully building.

How the week actually runs

Four steps, and only the first one needs you at a keyboard.

  1. 01

    Someone pastes the link

You or a volunteer submits Sunday’s recording. That is the whole ask on your side.

  2. 02

    The transcript does the picking

Rhetorical questions, repetition, pauses and the room’s response are read together, so a quiet invitation can be chosen over the loudest moment.

  3. 03

    You read the captions

Check the wording and the context. Transcription mishears words; correcting one takes seconds and the timing does not move.

  4. 04

    You approve what goes out

Nothing is posted without your approval, and rejecting a reel does not delete the sermon it came from.

THE PLAN THAT USUALLY FITS

Reels

If someone in the church is happy to post, Reels at $19 a month covers five sermons and twenty five reels. Move to Publish when you want the posting done for you.

QUESTIONS FROM PASTORS

Worth asking
before you start.

Anything else, the support page covers more.

Will it quote me out of context?

It cuts on phrase boundaries and keeps whole thoughts, and it shows you each reel with the surrounding transcript before you approve. The judgement stays yours.

Does the reel say which church it came from?

Yes. Your church name is on the reel, and the scripture reference appears when you actually said it.

What if the five moments are wrong?

Say what you were hoping for in the request box and a different set is chosen. Your earlier approvals and downloads are kept.
